When you hear the word witch, what is the first thing that pops in your head? Probably a woman with a wart on her nose, pointed hat, black cape, and a broomstick. A witch has a scary, demonist connotation.
But why do you think we were taught to believe that? Because a long time ago, women were not meant to have any power. Women who challenged male authority were accused of witchcraft to control them. Then they were burned at the stake to show other women to maintain their social status of wife, mother, caretaker, and homemaker. Women needed to be kept in their place.
Some of the “witchcraft” they were being accused of, was simply spirituality. Believing in God and the power we all have to manifest our dreams.

I wrote an email the other day that said I was bringing out my wild side and embracing the witch inside me. My husband said he read that and laughed. But his idea of my wild side is definitely different than mine:) When I say wild side, I mean that I am letting my energy be seen. I’m acting on impulses, doing what I love, speaking up, and not letting others suppress who I want to be. To me, that is really exciting!
It’s time to discover the witch inside you. To use your feminine energy to be the powerful woman you are.
We need both masculine and feminine energy to be in balance, but feminine energy tends to be looked at as weak.
Feminine energy gets expressed when you move with the flow of life, embrace your creative energy and attune to your internal process.
To inspire you to do just that, I have found 12 feminine energy quotes.
12 Feminine Energy Quotes
“When we dare to show our true self and discover that we are loved anyway, then we begin to develop authentic confidence. We realize we are lovable just as we are instead of for some façade we created to hide our true self.” Kimberley Jones
“My temple is my body. My world around me my altar, my words are spells. Every thought an intention. My actions are rituals. To manifest all that will be I am sacred, I am divine.” Ara
“We need to be willing to heal our negative emotions relative to anything we identify as female to set the femininity within us free. Divine feminine does not need to be cultivated or created within us as women. It is us. It is the essence of our choice to come into this life as women. And so, it is ever-present energy that is always there. It is merely obscured by our thoughts and actions. If we begin to clear our minds and lives of the things that are obscuring the essence, it will immediately shine through on its own. It is exhausting suppressing the essence of who we are. And so, it is time to quit suppressing it. It is time to embrace it and let it shine.” Teal Swan
“Feminine energy needs to flow. We need to allow women the freedom to flow freely.” J.H.
“Be at least as interested in what goes on inside you as what happens outside. If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.” Eckhart Tolle
“You were wild once, don’t let them tame you.” Isadora Duncan
“Be a first-rate version of yourself, not a second-rate version of someone else.”
“One of the most courageous things you can do is identify yourself, know who you are, what you believe in, and where you want to go.” Sheila Murray Bethel
“I was wild until I was tamed by shame. Until I started hiding and numbing my feelings for fear of being too much. When I started deferring to others’ advice instead of trusting my own intuition. Until I became convinced that my imagination was ridiculous, and my desires were selfish. When I buried who I was in order to become what I should be. I lost myself when I learned how to please.” Glennon Doyle, Untamed
“In each and every woman, there is a creature. She is wild and she’s a reflection of nature. She’s a powerful force, a power source, passionate, creative, deeply intuitive, and has a knowing that’s older than time itself. And that creature’s name? The witch.” Lisa Lister, Witches
“You don’t need to be a Wiccan or a Pagan to be a witch. In fact, you don’t even need to know what either of those terms means. All you need is a deep sense of knowing who you are underneath all the noise, labels, and societal messaging.” Lisa Lister
That’s what draws me to this idea of discovering the feminine energy and witch inside you. Let’s just be who we are as women. Our feminine energy is strong. Power can only come from expanding and growing and expressing yourself fully.
When you stop blocking your feminine energy, your life will flow more easily and you will start to manifest a life you love.
