This is the weather forecast for this week in Minnesota!  (January 2019) That is cold, but it’s not extremely unusual for us.  We are hearty souls here in the north.  Many of us question why we live here most January’s, but then we remember what it’s like the other three seasons.  Spring, summer, and fall can be beautiful.  So, we need to get through winter.  When we are not lucky enough to fly off to someplace warm, we are stuck in our homes.  Here are 29 ideas for you to do on a cold day inside.

  2. You can binge-watch your favorite TV show on one of the many streaming devices. Have you seen Ted Lasso or started Emily in Paris yet?
  3. Organize your closet or any other room in your house
  4. Redecorate a room or rearrange the furniture

  7. Make a meal or soup with whatever ingredients you have in the house.
  8. Call someone who is alone to make sure they have heat.

When you are out driving, remember what your parents used to tell you.  Bring extra warm clothes, make sure you have jumper cables, have your phone charged, pack water and a snack, and be very careful!
